CYCLOSERINE ?CEFOXITIN SUPPLEMENT

Rehydrate the contents of one vial aseptically with 5 ml of sterile deionised water. Mix well and aseptically add to 500 ml of sterile, molten, cooled (45-50?C) TM 2446 – CYCLOSERINE-CEFOXITIN FRUCTOSE AGAR (CCFA). Mix well and dispense as desired.

For the isolation and presumptive identification of Clostridium difficile, a recognized cause of pseudomembraneous (antimicrobial agent-associated) colitis.
