BROMO CRESOL PURPLE (15 mg/vl)

Rehydrate the contents of 1 vial aseptically with 5 ml of sterile 0.2 N sodium hydroxide and add to 1000 ml of sterile, molten TM 136 – KF STREPTOCOCCAL AGAR BASE, along with 1 vial of 1% TTC Solution. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.

For selective isolation and enumeration of faecal Streptococci.
