LEGIONELLA BMPA SELECTIVE SUPPLEMENT

Rehydrate the contents of 1 vial aseptically with 5 ml of 50% ethanol. Mix well and aseptically add to 450 ml of sterile, molten, cooled (45-50?C) TM 1218 – LEGIONELLA AGAR BASE / TM 2156 – LEGIONELLA AGAR BASE W/O CHARCOAL along with 50 ml of sterile Legionella Growth Supplement (BCYE). Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.

For selective isolation of Legionella species.
