PERFRINGENS AGAR BASE (TRYPTOSE SULPHITE CYCLOSERINE AGAR BASE) (as per ISO 7937)

TSC Agar is recommended for the isolation and differentiation of Clostridium perfringens from food. Originally formulated by Harmon et al., this media has been reported as one of the most useful media for the quantitative recovery of C.perfringens while suppressing the growth of other facultative anaerobes. This culture medium complies with the specifications given by EN ISO 7937, ISO 14189 and APHA.
