Sabouraud Dextrose Veg Broth is prepared by using Veg special peptone in place of Peptone special which makes the medium free of BSE/TSE risks. Sabouraud Dextrose Veg Broth is a modification of Dextrose Agar described by Sabouraud. It is useful for the cultivation of fungi, particularly associated with skin infections.
