BRUCELLA SELECTIVE SUPPLEMENT

Rehydrate the contents of 1 vial aseptically with 10 ml of 50% methanol. Shake to form a uniform suspension. Add the contents to 500 ml of sterile, molten, cooled (45-50?C) media such as, TM 041- BLOOD AGAR BASE No. 2 / TM 1842 – BLOOD AGAR BASE NO. 2 (ISO 11290-1:2017) / TM 2011 – BLOOD AGAR BASE NO. 2 WITH 1.2% AGAR / TM 071 – COLUMBIA BLOOD AGAR BASE / TMV 071 – COLUMBIA BLOOD AGAR BASE (VEG.) / TM 2044 – COLUMBIA BLOOD AGAR BASE W/ 1% AGAR with 5-10% v/v inactivated horse serum and 1% w/v sterile dextrose / TMV 514 – BRUCELLA AGAR BASE (VEG.) / TM 680 – BRUCELLA AGAR BASE, MODIFIED / TM 050 – BRUCELLA BROTH BASE / TM 682 – BRUCELLA SELECTIVE MEDIUM BASE / TM 1513 – BRUCELLA AGAR BASE W/ 1.0% DEXTROSE with 5-10% v/v inactivated horse serum. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates / tubes
