G. VAGINALIS SELECTIVE SUPPLEMENT

Rehydrate the contents of 1 vial aseptically with 2 ml of sterile distilled water. Mix well and aseptically add it to 500 ml of sterile, molten, cooled (45-50?C) TM 071 – Columbia Blood Agar Base / TMV 071 – COLUMBIA BLOOD AGAR BASE (VEG.) / TM 2044 – COLUMBIA BLOOD AGAR BASE W/ 1% AGAR along with 5% v/v sterile defibrinated sheep blood. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.

For selective isolation of Gardnerella vaginalis.
