TELLURITE – CEFIXIME SUPPLEMENT

Rehydrate the contents of 1 vial aseptically with 5 ml of sterile distilled water. Mix gently to dissolve the contents completely. Aseptically add the contents to 495 ml of sterile, molten, cooled (45-50?C) TM 1393 – MacCONKEY SORBITOL AGAR BASE / TM 1915 – MacCONKEY SORBITOL AGAR BASE (ISO 16654-2001). Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.

For isolation of Escherichia coli 0157:H7.
